About us and our alpacas
We currently agist (board) all our alpacas. We do not have a farm of our own, though we hope to find something where we can be with our alpacas in the near future. By boarding, we can be sure the alpacas have plenty of other friends to socialize with, and are under the care of more experienced owners. We can take the time to learn as much as possible while also finding the right place for us. In the meanwhile, we are able to continue with our existing jobs, which will help ease our transition as well. Boarding is a unique option for those entering the alpaca business, and is a great way to get started. We'd be happy to talk to you about agisting.

When I was considering a name for our alpaca business, I thought of many aspects of this new and exciting industry. As the goal is to establish North American products (animals, fiber, and finished goods) that are sought throughout the world for their fine fiber and quality, this requires owners to work together on a national level. I look forward to being part of this effort. Also, as a New Englander, I am often reminded of how many of the early American patriots were small farmers, trying to establish a new way. I think there are some parallels between our modern times and the earlier era, where small farmers can once again lead to a new way. We can focus on building peaceful futures that preserve our environment and fulfill us. We can bring products to a world market that are natural, necessary, of high quality, and desireable.
